The orangery
The orangery is our common area where you can relax and enjoy the day at all times of the day. When the staff have gone home, you can provide yourself with nuts, chips, olives, muffins, as well as cold and hot drinks with polite self-service. Our fridge is stocked with beer, soft drinks, water and wine, and you can make tea with the kettle or brew coffee with the coffee machine. The orangery has plenty of seating, perfect for cozying up with a book or playing one of our board games.
The restaurant
The restaurant has room for 145 guests and can be divided into two sections: the Panorama hall, with space for 100 people and a stage, and Skyline, where our long bar and draft beer system form the framework for a cozy atmosphere. Both rooms have direct access to our beautiful terrace, which is open all year round.
We are proud to serve homemade, traditional Danish dishes, prepared with fresh, local ingredients - from morning to night!
Among other things. is our sumptuous breakfast is an experience in itself, with "make yourself" waffles, cheese plate, honey board from our own beehive, a large selection of cold cuts and side dishes as well as our delicious homemade vanilla custard. There is something for everyone here!
We also offer take away from the restaurant's menu. The menu varies, but there is always something exciting to choose from.
The fireplace room
The fireplace room is our cozy little nook, which you will find right next to the reception. The living room offers a warm atmosphere with lit candles, a fireplace, board games and a television. Here you can enjoy a relaxing moment with coffee, cake, beer and other delicacies.
The fireplace room is designed as a charming place to stay, with walls covered with bronze mirrors and paintings, and there is room for 22 people. There is no morning or evening service, but you are welcome to enjoy a last glass or a quiet moment here after closing time, as the fireplace room is available around the clock.
When the staff has left the hotel, the fireplace room is still open for guests who want to spend time in the pleasant atmosphere. Regardless of the time of day or night, you can find a little quiet corner here where you can relax and enjoy your time.

Our cozy sauna is furnished in a warm and inviting style, which creates the perfect setting for total relaxation and renewed energy. Here you can let the stress of everyday life slip away, while you feel the warmth embrace you and give peace to both body and mind.
Take the dressing gown from the room and give yourself a quiet moment with full focus on well-being and self-pampering.
The area around the hotel
Outside Hotel Limfjorden, large, green areas spread out and create a peaceful oasis where you can relax and enjoy nature. The hotel is surrounded by manicured gardens, and a short walk of 4-500 meters takes you to the water via a staircase that gives direct access to the fjord.
The lookout post
From the hotel's outdoor areas, you can also make use of the lookout, which offers a breathtaking view of the Limfjord. Although the lookout does not belong to the hotel, it is free to use. Feel free to bring your own drinks and enjoy the spectacular view in peace and quiet.
If you take a walk around the hotel grounds, you can meet our buzzing colleagues – the bees – who produce fresh honey all year round, which is served to our guests.
The trip to the center
It takes about half an hour to walk to the center of Thisted, a scenic route along the water, where you can follow the path down a hill and get a nice view all the way. If you prefer to drive, it only takes 4-5 minutes by car. When you arrive downtown, you can enjoy the benefits of free parking at the port for 3 hours.
